~ This is quite an exceptional debut - it's like Jim Woodring's Frank for ninjas and game freaks! The last of the Bushwatchers, Herald Owlett must fight his way through hoards of monstrous tentacled Orochi before they destroy the whole forest. Using the conventions of RPG videogames and some of the most drop-dead gorgeous and dynamic art I've seen from a mini comic in years, Nikki has thrown down a gauntlet here in terms of quality and finish in what is effectively still a Zine. The reproduction of her art is faultless too, the blacks are deep and pristine and the screen tones are spotless. And at 40 pages in length, the quality is matched by the quantity. Comes with not one, but TWO BADGES!

I went to go and see star trek on wed (at last ) and it was one of the best things I've seen this year, really good action film and being a non-wizard at Star trek I managed to follow it pretty well I thought, A nice little outing although on the other hand Terminator looks like utter balls, I was interested for about half a day then when I thought about it I realized what a mistake that would be.

Hoping to make some sort of modals soon so i'll keep ya posted on this and I'm sketching vol 2 of Herald Owlett very soon.

Hopefully I may be going to see Ponya too,
